Orangetheory At Home
In a very sad Airbnb in South Florida at 3am with a pandemic about to shutter 1400 studios worldwide, Orangetheory At Home was born. It was the very first at home effort for Orangetheory and a necessity to engage with members during a global shutdown.
NO WEIGHTS, NO PROBLEM. USE PAINT CANS OR A BABY: We knew that all members wouldn’t have access to weights so we designed the workouts with options in mind.
THE TEASERS: Everyday we teased the workouts on Instagram. The first one racked up 219K views.
ORANGETHEORYATHOME.COM: Orangetheory at Home scored its own webpage. Members we encouraged to capture themselves doing the workouts and post to instagram using the hashtag #orangetheoryathome. We featured members on the webpage as well as their workout stats.
THE EDITIONS: To keep things fresh we created editions each with a different format.
IN-APP: The workouts became so popular that added them to the Orangetheory app.
PRAISE: Named one of the top 25 at home fitness YouTube Channels by Oprah Magazine
POPULARITY: 9 Million views in 3 months
PRESS: Orangetheory At Home gained a lot of buzz including some live demos.
STAR POWER: Former NFL player Brendon Ayanbadejo on the news hyping Orangetheory At Home, Hometown Edition.
ORANGETHEORY AT HOME MAYHEM EDITION: Mayhem is usually an in-studio event but thanks to the coronavirus we we’re forced to take a different approach. We made 6 total workouts, shot them over two days and hyped them on social media by giving members a peek behind the curtain during the planning process.
THE COUNTDOWN TO MAYHEM.
